OHS Regulation 2001 sets out specific first aid requirements for certain types of workplaces. However, every workplace has a legal responsibility for ensuring adequate first aid provisions are in place.
It is recommended that access to first aid personnel is available wherever there are more than 25 persons at a workplace, regardless of whether or not those persons are employees (e.g. schools, small businesses, large retail outlets, sporting clubs).
Emergency First Response (EFR)
Emergency First Response (EFR) is one of the foremost CPR and First Aid Training companies in the world. EFR courses meet standards for workplace safety at local, regional and national levels. Courses follow ECC Guidelines 2005 for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and the emergency cardiovascular care standards set by the Basic Life Support (BLS) Working Group of the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR).

In some cases, a personal delivery in a class type environment offers its own advantages and is preferred by some employers as the better option. You decide with our EFR Instructor which method will work best for you and your employees.
Our first aid courses
Our courses combine adult, child and infant CPR and first aid skills, including Automated External Defibrillator (AED), EPI pen use and Asthma and Asphyxia Management.
